Beaver Floorcare were engaged to carry out a full wood floor restoration to the main sitting room at Armscote Manor. The floor was an engineered oak plank which was in need of a makeover, the interior designer wanted a dark look to the floor so we provided some samples for colour selection.

Once the colour had been selected we carried out a full sand of the floor to bring the oak wear layer back to an as new finish. This work was undertaken by our highly skilled craftsmen which used a belt sander, edging sanders, corner tools and trio finishing sander to achieve a faultless finish.

It is important that no scratches are evident as these will show when the colour is applied to the floor. We stained the floor with a bespoke colour oil which was a base of ebony with a 5% addition of black to darken it slightly.

Once the floor was coloured we oiled the floor with a 2K oil to complete the look.
