Wood Floor Restoration for EY in London
EY had an old solid oak floor that was in desperate need of renovation, the floor was in excess of 500m2. The site in the prestigious More Place London is right next to Tower Bridge. Our contact within EY is a very well respected multi faceted engineering director that has a proven track record of delivering successful project works.
Beaver Floorcare were tasked with delivering the project within a very tight time frame of 50 hours, this is what was agreed and successfully delivered. Our process included 3 belt sanders that ran using 36 grit belts, this was followed by 2 Klindex Timba machines that ran with 60 grits and 100 grits. All of the edges were incorporated during this process on both 40 & 80 grits. The floor was finished using a Lagler Trio machine on a 100 grit to finish to floor to a fine finish. After we had completed the sanding works the floor was vacuumed thoroughly before it was water popped and allowed to dry out completely.
The wood floor was coated using Eukula 1FS which is the only completely 100% natural impregnating wood floor oil on the market. The floor received 2 coats of the Eukula 1FS which also contained a catalyst, Master FS to ensure extremely high wear capabilities.
Our team of craftsmen delivered an amazing transformation within a very tight time frame and the client was delighted and astonished at the results.
